Its almost always been that "the last boat out of Doug Wrights is fastest boat out of Doug Wrights" but Shawn has data that shows everything and he does not test by the seat of his pants feel. I have seen him overlap competitors data and show them the difference in where they need to improve. I agree, he is just ahead of everyone in technology, has the new hull design, and has taken more laps in a boat then anyone else that he is racing against.
