  • WTB: External Hydraulic Steering - TRS Setup

Looking to upgrade to hydraulic steering on the cafe. TRS setup and prefer to go from the helm all the way back. I've got some slop in the current cable setup even after redoing the pins, steering arms, and gimbal rings. I see a few kits from Mayfield but if someone runs into a boat getting parted out or a good buy on ebay, please let me know!

I went through the same thing a few years back. Had dual cables, got so hard to turn. Tried finding a used setup. I ended up calling IMCO. They had recommendations for my rig, but I do have Bravos. Sent me a kit that had everything in it. All I had to do was measure for the template, drink 1 beer and drill all the holes. That was the most stressful part. Give them a try, maybe they have a way to make the caps for your TRS'. The best part was , it went together flawlessly, made it like a completely different boat.
