Welcome Brad. Where do you boat?

Hey Grumpy,
Thanks for the welcome. We boat mostly on Pool 26 and the Illinois up towards Hardin. We hang out at Masons chute quite a bit as well. We will be hitting LOTO more this year, we just went in on a place with my folks at the 4mm, just on the other side of the Lake from Docknockers. How about you?

Nice location on LOTO Bradman, we like to punish the water while we are done and drive from the damn to 1/2 way Inn.
What are you using for a boat?

We are pretty psyched about this summer! If you guys are ever around Dry Branch cove, stop in and have a cold one. I'll add some pics of my boat, but I am hoping they will change soon. Doin a little shoppin this winter! Anyway, for the river guys, it's funny, all of our neighbors down at the lake can't understand whey we are not leaving our boat there. They don't get the whole river Happy Hour scene. Do you guys do Thursdays on the sand bar? We are usually out by 2 or 3 a couple of times during the week. When most of the other salespeople are on the golf course, I take my clients down to the water.

Good luck with your search. I'm not going quite that big, I looking to stay in the 28 to 30 range. Not sure what brand yet. I am kind of leaning toward Formula, but I am very intrigued by Sunsation.

Hey Eddie, thanks for the info. I noticed on your website that one of your buds has a Powerquest. I have looked at a few of those, any thoughts? I've heard that they cut some corners to keep the cost down. Thanks again for the help.
I dont think PQ cuts any more corners than any other "affordable" boat. That 28 PQ is a solid ride. I would own one any day of the week.

That's what I like to hear. I am not really looking to set any speed records, just something with a little get up and go and does well in rough water. I dream of running on plane in the middle of the channel at the lake one day. (ha-ha) Thanks again for the help.

Bradman, If you need any info on the formula let me know. I have 2003 292 Fastech. Well built and heavy boat. A nice ride. We had alot of fun with it last year. Had a few Merc problems but Formula stands behind there boat.

Hey Formula, I am actually talking to a guy about a Formula today. I have to say, Formula is probably my first choice, but the $$$$$$ may be a few too many right now. It's a leftover '02 292. I have not seen it yet but the guy say's he will work one hell of a deal on it. We'll see. Thanks for the input.

Great, let me know how it go's. Stay with the 6.2's if you can. I also have a few leads for you if it does not work out.

I'd call Robert Nelms, he gave me a great price on trading our Cobalt. Like you said they are expensive and I didn't want to do it:

PQ is a great boat. Aaron's has a motor exploder and it runs hard and lands soft.

Take a look at a 29 Outlaw, I'm well satified with mine, just stay away from the singles.
