My boat has a swim platform that is all fiberglass with the typical raised non-slip surface. I am finding it difficult to keep it clean, and also difficult to clean it. The best I have done so far is using a gel coat safe wash solution, and a rubber brush. This seems to break it loose, but it doesn't want to rinse off. I get the big stuff off, but the small stuff seems to stay and dry on again, down in the grooves.

I am wondering if anyone makes an emulsifier of some sort that would work for this. Any other hints/suggestions would be greatly appreciated as well.

Of course it is white too...

Have you tried grease lightning (sold at Menards) it seems to do pretty well on white fiborglass . Use a brush and rinse well. dont spill on aluminum it eats it.

Cobalt recommends soft scrub, we use it all the time on our swim platform

Soap and water and a brush, on your hands and knees. I had a Monteray deck boat without the carpet, I would soap it up and use a brush....works everytime....then rinse [smilie=061.gif] [smilie=061.gif]

A stiff  brush and Simple Green will do wonders.
