Ok, I don't have any pictures yet, but I'm done with my project.
I put in 2 MTX 7510-10" subs a 7801 amp for them, a 7804 amp for the 4 6.5's & 2 6x9's.
I am so happy with it! Paul Harvey never sounded so good!
I will offer up my new vibrating rear seat to any woman who is willing to sit on it and have a good time. I think it will get the job done, if you know what I mean.

What? I'm just telling the truth. The thing vibrates the rear seat. I sat down. It felt good....for like a 1/2 a second, then I stood/jumped up in pain up and my voice changed to a higher pitch.

I'm sure you would be done allready if you had a place indoors to work on it! [smilie=265.gif]
As for the driving part.....well twins are really nice. Once you go to twins, you will never go back. [smilie=450.gif]

I am indoors now, I moved it to a storage unit, so we have been making progress. The biggest delays have been the upholstry shop, they are 2 weeks behind on dooing the vinyl work. They got the sides done, but I am now waiting for the boxes for the speakers that are going on the pedestal.

Amps are wired, batteries are bought, the battery cages have been welded up and are being epoxy coated this week.

Sub box is done and has been fiberglassed, just need ot get all the power wire run from the alternators to the perkos and then back out to the battery banks and I cna install the sub box.

my dash should be back from paint this week so I can get the gauges installed and put it all back together

then all I have to do is install the LED lighting and re assemble the interior

4 weeks and counting [smilie=trink39]

You had better get to stepping. It is going to get BAD COLD this week. I'm sure you will have it done by St. Patricks day. The question is what year?

Christian

80000 btu heater fixes that cold issue, I am only oin a 16 x 42 shop, so it gets it warm enough where I cannot see my breath any more, and I am using a small space heater in the cabin so I have been ok [smilie=crazy]

Congrats Jason,

Now when summer time comes, if you think the seat vibrates, have the women sit up on the deck. PC's favorite spot was to lay on the deck of mine and.....well........I'll just say she loved it.

Since we are on the subject of stereos, thought I would share my upgrade. I have been working on the Expedition since the boat is in storage, added two more tv's. Making the total to four. The install was alot easier than I thought. This was my first time installing screens in a headrest. Great DIY project.

I got them from www.petra.com . They are a distributer, and you need a sales account to order from them. But you do get everything form them nearly at cost. The screens I put in the headerst were about $150 each from petra. POWER ACOUSTIK POWPT713HRS 7" Headrest Monitors. Not bad for a screen with a 1440 x 234 resolution.

Yo Jason,
What did the guys who actually did the install use for wire management? I am using 12 gauge to coaxs but trying to figure out way to secure the wires so they have some support along their runs along the inside of the hull.

Man, I did it all myself. I used tons of zip ties with the sticky back things. I also used the kind that are held on with a bolt. They have a hole in them that threads on a bolt.

I used screw head wire tys and plactic and stainless clamps depending on the wire ahere it was run, here are some shots of the cabling and how we did it. I have always used screw type applicaions so they have less of a chance of flopping loose.
