Info from another board regarding the 2006 Chain O'Lakes Swing Crew Party at the Petite Sandbar...

The band called the other day and the date is set for July 8th this year. That way it won't interfer with Blarney Gras.

We're thinking about booking them at Captain's Quarters on Friday night so it's a short hop out to the sandbar that night or the next morning.

Then afterwards on Saturday we're wondering about what people think of moving the party over to Blarney's afterwards for an evening show there? Or is everyone too far gone by then to continue on?
You can find more info at http://www.swingcrewparty.com/

Hey good times! I see you're a Cub fan and a Chain O' lakes boater. That's a good combo me too. Just wanted to let you know Jester J already posted some info on the sandbar party http://midwestboatparty.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=7941 that's probably why you have not gotten any responses. Do you make it to the Chain O' lakes often?? [smilie=trink39] I get out to the petite lake sandbar as often as I can. I'm sure I'll see out there this summer. [smilie=fest42.gif]

Yup, I didn't see that, looks like JesterJ beat me to it. I'm better known over at FOTF (where we both got the info) as Parrot Head.

I'm on the Chain permanently, I keep my cruiser (2001 Rinker 242 Fiesta Vee) slipped at Chain O'Lakes Marina on Fox Lake. The Petite Sandbar is real close, and we were there almost every weekend last summer.

If your out there alot, I'm sure we probably met at some point, if not, I'm sure we will this year, I'll have a cold one waiting for ya. Just look for this...
