Might be pretty simple for some of you to answer...something I need to fix this Spring.
I have noticed at times I get a lot of static at louder volumes. The way I can make this stop is switch the battery selector to the DUEL setting. So it seems I am having an issue with getting enough power. Right now I have 2 RF amplifiers and they are a combined power of about 1200 watts RMS.
I upgraded these this summer, but I am pretty sure I need larger cables to the battery. But this still doesnt 'jive'. Both batteries it is fine. (oh yea, they are new Group 27's)
Would one of those capicitor things help me? Or is it a function of the wiring only?
