Stereo Update

Ok, bought 2 MTX 7510 subs, 2 MTX 6x9's, 4 MTX 6.5'S, 1 MTX 7804 AMP & 1 MTX 7801 AMP. May get 2 more 10's & another 7801 amp. I guess I'll see how it sounds before I buy more.
What say you?

It will be plenty loud with all the MTX tweeters in there, should get loud [smilie=071.gif]

It looks oto be decent stuff and the amps are fan cooled. Should be a nice system

Well I did my share of whatever you wanna call it Saturday night so I'm good for awhile. Besides I have keys to the boat so I dont gotta dance..... BTW - Did you find any boat remotes for exisiting stereos while you were shopping for stereo?

I have a question for everyone. The stereo that is in my boat is a Maxim which came with the boat in 1997. On the dash sits a rectangular wired remote. I want to replace the stereo with a CD player. I am sure I will have to replace the remote but the only thing I can find are the circular ones.

1) Can I use the older rectangular one?
2) Do they make a new rectangular remote to fit the hole so I don't have to reglass the dash and then cut a new hole?
3) What is the best brand/stereo to buy?
4) Where is a good place to buy the stereo?
