Big Dicks/Miller's Landing "fun run" October 7th??

Is anyone interested and/or planning to make the infamous run to Big Dicks Friday?

Thought I'd start a separate thread since a run to Big Dicks was mentioned in one of the two Harbor Hop threads.

I don't know what the turn out will be this year, but last time I remember calling Big Dicks prior to the weekend to ensure their preparedness for a large crowd. Had to make sure they had plenty of minnows on hand. [smilie=061.gif] - and food, of course. :roll: :mrgreen:

I'm in for Friday.. 4 in my boat. Just waiting for the time and place to start from. If worse comes to worse we'll meet you guys during the run. We are coming from the 55mm. If we get a lot of responses for this Friday I can call BJ at Big Dicks to give him a heads up. I know this time of year he is at minimum staff.

After perusing the Harbor Hop thread, it appears as though a run to Big Dicks may not be feasible for many & that Miller's Landing is quickly becoming an alternative.

Therefore, I changed the name of this thread. Please post away so we can call wherever the final decision is going to be held, in order for them to accomodate everyone. Thanks! [smilie=050.gif]

Looks like the consensuses has it, the run Friday will be to Millers Landing 28.5mm and not Big Dicks. For those coming from the lower mm numbers we will meet at the 17mm in front of Indian Pointe Condos. This is the same cove as Port Arrowhead Marina. The cove is the first cove on the Osage side after you go past the community or toll bridge. Meeting time will be 12:00. Weather looks to be sunny but on the COOL side.
