Replaced the coil and she started up to be winterized. We will not know if that was the real problem till we can run her in the spring.

It has nothing to do with Griff, she is no longer his boat. Things happen. We got a full season out of her with no problems. We plan on getting a lot more seasons out of her too. Just a tiny set back. No biggie at all!

Seriously though, I hope the coil will solve the problem. I had to replace one on the Pantera last Summer as well. Started loosing rpms after I had been running for a while and the new coil cured it.

Memorial Day is out for me. My only niece's birthday is Memorial Day weekend.
Labor Day is out too. My only nephew's birthday is Labor Day weekend.

I am sure we will make it there for the Shoot Out, but I think that might be it. We are planning on going to a lot more places this year. No need to be at Lake Perry, KS every weekend.

6 months seems like a life time in the winter!!!!!!

I think we are looking at going in the middle of June for a week with our son.

Then, 4th of July for a week.

Then, either The Shootout or Labor Day for a week depending on work schedule.

Also looking at Lake Michigan for a week in July or August. I will have about 400 hours of vacation to burn by then so I plan on traveling a bit in the summer :razz:

I totally agree with you Eddie. If it was any one else I would send a card and be done with it but, I do not have any family in Kansas so it means alot not only to them that Aunt Carrie-that's Cool Aunt Carrie to them-is there it means a lot to me too.
I told my sister that the next kid better not be born on the 4th of July or I was going to have to have a chat with her about that because that was the only boating holiday I had left!
It's okay I guess because she lives an hour from at least 5 nice lakes in Oklahoma so it all works out. [smilie=1074.gif]

Laney and Justin are 2 1/2 and 1 1/2 years old. A little young to go on the boat since they have never been on one yet. I would like them to be a little older and both go through swim lessons before I take them out. Now it would be different if they had always been out on a boat, but they have not.
They both have seen the boat and the first words out of Laney's mouth when she saw it was.....BIG BOAT...MY BIG BOAT. HA!
Those two kids are my word!

Eddie i agree with you. When is everbodys first trip out on the boat in spring? Are first will probably be Spring Harbor Hop @ LOTO. Last year was our first (spring) harbor hop and we had a blast.

I wasn't ignoring you earlier in the week. My home pc is AFU'd, I guess. It won't let me post replies here. Tried all kinds of chit to fix it.

We'll probably only make it down once this Summer. Its gonna be a busy Spring. Pulling the boat engine in March, moving to a new house in May, & new kid in June. Might try to sneak down for weekend in late July and then 10 days around the Shootout.

She sure is a beautiful boat!
And she took 3rd that weekend at the Cottonwood Shoot Out!
That was so much fun....except running out of gas on the river!
I am ready to run her again next summer.
We got the prop all ready to go. Julie at Throttle Up took care of it.
