First off, WELCOME [smilie=071.gif]

Sounds like a great time.
I would seriously consider this.
However, please read some more postings on here and other sites to get a heads up about what happens at the Halfway Inn.
People have been running LARGE groups of boats and people for the last several years on the Friday of the Shootout. So manyy people in fact that the service gets severally slow :(
This year will be extremly busy with thier annual luunch run along with your event.

Best wishes, and I will truly not enjoy missing out on it that weekend :(

We had a grat time. It was well organized and both Poker Runs America and Powerboat magazine were present. It was another successfull event. We had a great time and think next year will be off the hook.

Just something to think about next year. Maybe a professional photograper should be hired to take pictures of the run and our run only. We had two paid hands in our boat and never saw us in any of the photos. The green dots??? I saw plenty of other boats in the pictures that had no green dots. I am sure they knew who to look at that had $$$$ on there boats! I am sure the cost could be off set in the entry fee!
