The kids are back from camp, in addition my mother and her boyfriend :roll: are joining us for the weekend. Anybody interested in a Saturday get together at the 31. [smilie=1062.gif]

We would but the last time we came back from the 31 I got a ticket. Yes it was Saturday night (sunday morning)after we went to the Fishing company to see Hott & Saxxy play. It was about 3:00 am and we got pulled over for 37mph, Night time speed is 30. They wouldnt give me a brake for nothing. I thought that the speed limit was 35!! :shock: The WP did the safty inspection and was nice & told me he liked my boat & Asked about the motor & Was carring on about the day, But told me he had to give me a ticket becouse he just wrote one for 36 & I was going 37 so he couldnt let me go. I just called to see how much it was & its $125. :shock: The lady in the cort house told me it didnt matter how fast I was going the fine was $125. So the next time I might as well go full out if the fine is the same!!!! That's crazy!!! [smilie=101.gif] But I guess It's my fault for not knowing the speed limit!! [smilie=106.gif]

We will be down but are boatless till next weekend. And Ms Sea has surgery in a few hours so I don't know how she will be feeling by the weekend. We'll play it by ear.

Got a friend and my cousin coming down this weekend. Neither one has been
to PC so we're going to try and give them a memorable time. :shock:

Might try to get breakfast early at Miller's Landing on the way up the lake-
depends on how Friday night goes...

Sudden change of plans..............my grandmother (age 90) who has been ailing for quite a while looks to be coming to the end of her well lived life. We will be staying in Omaha to comfort my mother, the rest of the family, and friends. See everyone soon.

We were very much looking forward to helping Bob celebrate his 50th and I thought by Saturday Cyn would have forgot her last Sunday morning vow of "I'm never drinking again".

Thanks everyone for their thoughts and prayers. This his been coming for a while, but even with that it still doesn't make it easy. Hopefully we can replan our end of a 31mm get together for Saturday Aug 20.

John's grandmother died very peacefully yesterday.

We will be down next weekend with John's mother & her "friend." Hope to see some of you there! [smilie=071.gif]

WE finally ventured to the 31 last monday and had lunch @ Fish Co.

Cyn, Thanks!! Now that summer is winding down and the kids are heading back to school and soccer is in high gear, our lake trips will be limited but maybe will can FINALLY hook up with some MWBP folks.
Maybe the shootout.

We are in the same "boat" regarding school & kids, therefore, ours will also be limited - especially with a cheerleader on board & football starting.

We are "planning" to be there for the shootout. It's all dependent upon whether or not we can find someone to house our daughter that weekend. She has school/cheerleading activites that weekend, but still wants us to go as planned.

Maybe we will finally meet - after trying since the holidays. :roll:
