Well we have a sitter, so laura is coming to the lake for an Adult Day, so I want to get as many folks as possible to come out a show here how much fun the rock quarry can be. She has been out before but it was much earlier, and the day was not near as fun as it could be. She has seen my pictures, and now wants to be part of the fun.

Sooooooooo, any of you team tree-hugger folks, chime in and let us know you will be there, and if any of you folks from out of town that want to come down, let us know and we will do everything in our power to make you feel welcome, and get you taken care of. MY THANKS to Wet Willie and Queen Jackie for the ride today.
The day got off to a slow start and the rangers were there from several counties around helping out the locals but it was fun once we regrouped and got started.

Here are a few of the photos of Saturday. The day started with a downer, as the KDWP was checking all coolers to make sure there was no :evil: Alchlol in them, so LOTS of people had to go buy 3.2 % (Its a Kansas thing) beer to come out to the lake, so the day got off to a rocky start.

Here is one of the "undercover" agents looking for that :evil: alcohol.

We kept pointing at them and laughing, they had 2 minivans [smilie=****sakes.gif] , and they got out and checked everyone cooler who pulled up to the parking area.

But I think their shift ended at 4:00 (or they got thirsty and wanted to go drink all their confiscated beverages) and at that point it was game on [smilie=boobeyes] [smilie=alc]
