3rd Annual Dog Days of Summer Poker Run, September 3rd, 2005

The 3rd Annual Dog Days of Summer Poker Run will be held September 3rd, 2005. It is Sponsored by the Missouri River Boat Club and MLRTYM Marina. It will start from the Boat Club located 1.5 miles up the Big Sioux River and end at the MLRTYM Marina with three stops in between those locations. The payout will be 30% to the local Hospice Organization and the other 70% will be divided up as follows: 1st place will receive 50%, 2nd is 30% and 3rd is 20%. The registration will be $25 which will include a poker run tee shirt and one hand and then you can puchase additional hands for $10. Also there will be tee shirts available for $15 while they last.There will be pre-registration on Friday night from 5:30 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Then on the day of the poker run registration will start at 9:00 A.M. and end at noon. You can drive in by land or boat in for registration and the first stop. All cards must be turned in by 5:00 P.M. Saturday. Anything after 5:00 P.M. will be not be allowed. Winners will be announced after all hands are dealt. Last years winners received for First Place $1,100, 2nd paid $685 and 3rd paid $465. It will great fun and a time to meet other boating friends. See you there.

Last year we made this run, one of our MWBP members won 1st place - it was a great time. Right now it appears we will be at LOTO for Labor Day, if things change we will see you in Sioux City

The stops will be as follows:

Start at the MRBC
Next stop just past the 520 bridge which is 6 miles from the boat club.
The next stop is the IPS Harbor Club at mile marker 721.5 or 7 miles down
from the 520 bridge. There will also be free food at this stop. Hot dogs and
compliments.
the next stop which is as far as we go until we turn around is at 708.3
marker.
Then it is return to MLRTYM Marina for the dealing of the cards. All cards
5 p.m.
Later that night (8 p.m.) there will be a group called the Mark & Randy show.
They are good as we have had them at several functions at the Boat Club.
The Poke Run starts at the Boat Club and ends at MLRTYM Marina. You can
stop at the other three stops in any order. If there is any confusion, let me
