Here are some pics. of Evergreen Cove (around 18 - 19mm across channel from BackWater Jack's) that we hung out in on Sat. We were in our friends Sea Ray. Our friends stay right at the corner of this cove second house back on left right off of main channel before Evergreen Condos. This cove is on a Porta Cima golf hole. I saw SPEEDRACER pull in also...one sweet Cig. Me and Mrs. SWEETPEA had fun taking our son out for the first time even though we did not bring SWEETPEA with us

Heath...it's a 280! Here are some more pics. on the water and eating dinner Friday night at Backwater Jack's.......sorry guys...I know many MWBP's had some bad experiences at Backwater's....but we had the kids on the boat at night and it is literally right across the main channel from their dock/house. Actually, we had good service and the food was good   They had more than enough boat parking slips with the covered docks they have in the back of the cove. So, we had a good experience there

Interestingly enough, our house at the lake is at the end of the road in the picture of Double Diamond..it's called Frudegar Rd. and we are right at the end...cool...

Yeah, we're starting them early...I've got several pictures of myself in a baby seat in the 70's in the back of a Mark Twain boat pulling skiers...we went to the lake every weekend [smilie=071.gif] . BTW, my son is going on 15 months...he's a monster for his age! I think he's going to outgrow his 6'4" 250 lb. pop

How do your friends like the 280?

That's the boat we've been zeroing in on more and more and think it's what we want....do they have twins in it?

We want it for the flexibility of having the Gen. and AC for the pups while we [smilie=1062.gif] and if we have runts down the road, the kiddo could nap and stay cool in the cabin for days like we've been having lately.

They really like it! I will say its extra 4K pounds made it handle much smoother than my 266. It has twin 5.0 L that are fuel injected...started right up with the touch of two buttons. It is much easier to drive with twins also...my single engine boat tends to wander so I have to stay on the steering wheel in tight coves. He didn't even have to use the steering wheel in a tight cove we were traveling through...just use the sticks. The a/c will freeze you out not to mention the fridge, microwave and other goodies. I will have to say for a smaller cruiser it is quite nice.
