Anyone have a solution for removing "orange-ish" mildew stains from a boat's headliner? I have a few and they drive me BUG CHIT. Thanks.

Have you tried Simple Green? Our boat cleaning boy (Pretty Boy aka Brian) swears by it!

No- the concern I have is that this a fabric and not vinyl. I thought about one of those super paste type products but have been reluctant to try them out.

It says you can use it on fabric. ***Disclaimer*** Not a personal testimony  !

Thanks!!! I had a bad experience with a "safe" product once- had an emergency and left it on the roof of a Porsche. Actually turned the clear coat orange. I was not a happy kid. I will try this product and report my results.

I got some water staining off of my cuddy headliner last year with some Oxyclean. Just sprayed it on with a small spray bottle let it sit for a minute or two then I took a clean white towel and dabbed it in a circular motion starting towards the outside of the stain and working into the middle of it while constantly changing to clean arreas on the towel. Do not rub it...dabbing it is applying pressure with your finger(s) then lifting and moving a little bit and applying prerssure again. Too many people do heavy rubbing when they are spot cleaning and that can add heat and actually set the stain in and/or damage the material you are trying to clean.
