We have a group going to Pop N Docks on June 26. We plan on leaving from Dodge park around 11:00 a.m.

I just happen to have that entire weekend off. Planning on being on the river most of the weekend.

Its about 40 miles north of Cottonwood in Decatur.

We are in! We are going to make it a longer trip and leave from Bellevue. I think it takes us about an hour to get to Dodge park, so we will leave Bellevue by 10:00am.

Eddie, what time does your 11 am departure from Dodge put you past the Cottonwood? I was talking to some of the notherners about this last night.

We are up to 14 boats and 397 foot of fiberglass for the run on Sunday. I just called Pop N Docks and they have Paul Phillips for music this weekend from Lincoln from 3 - 7. She said parking shouldn't be a problem if we are there between 1 & 2.

Farmer just called and said they had high water up North, I called Shane in Sioux City and he said they are pulling the docks out at the Sioux City boat club because of the trees coming down the Little Sioux. Have to watch the water and see what it's like and see if it's worth going to the river tomorrow. All that stuff will be on the way down tomorrow [smilie=1271.gif]

I'll call Shane later tonight and see what he thinks.

If the river is trashed shall we move the boating to another lake? What about Perry or Pawnee?

Carter Lake is still pretty low and I don't want anyone to damage their boat.

I hope the river is OK tomorrow, the water has went up quick in Souix City, higher then it has been in the last 2 weeks, will be alot of debris most likely

I blew a starter on Friday night and changed it today... so I have to get the boat out on Sunday and see if it works :mrgreen:

I just went down to Rick's - River is clean down here, not even a stick floating.

We talked to some Sioux City peeps yesterday and Bob P will call them back today. Let's plan on Dodge at 11:00 a.m. it's only up about 11" in Sioux City.
