Our weathermen are typical men, if they say they are giving you six inches you'd be lucky do get one.

Wow that sounded gayer when I read it than when I thought of it in my head

I don't even listen tho the a$$holes anymore, especially in the summer. We go boating even if they are predicting rain. I can't tell you how many nice boating days I missed years ago because the weatherman called for a 90% chance of rain, heavy at times.

Hey there Minnesota boy,
You don't understand. We get snow every year, 5-6 times a year. But no matter what, the residents of our fine state forget how to drive in the snow each year. So my dumb ass has to put them back together all day tomorrow when they slam into each other!!!!!!

It was supposed to start raining by 8:00 and turn to snow by 9:00. Not a speck of moisture yet. I'm with ASH. Can I change my vote?

Griff, where are you building. We have a new house going up in Val Verde, and having Bone Shaker (East Homes) build it. So far, I believe they are ahead of schedule. I hope your builder gets it rolling for you, it will not be fun having your house sold, and your new house is a month behind. When is your closing date? Good Luck

I'm building in Lakewood Villages, just south of 48th and hwy 370. Barr Homes is the builder. Supposed to close by mid April, but I doubt its gonna happen. Its not all the builders fault. He's been waiting on the permits from the Bellevue Permit dept for over a month. They lost all the chit once.
The good news is the new house has a 3rd car tandem garage(41' deep) with 12' ceilings, floor drain, plumbed for nat gas heat, and a steel beam that'll work fine for pulling an engine.
Mine is FSBO now and I've had quite a few bites, but its a little tougher sell when people know that you won't be ready to move for a while. I do have an alternate plan for a place to stay if mine sells, but really don't want to have to move stuff twice.

I have worked on a lot of houses over in Lakewood, nice area. You must have no support pole in your garage. We also have a three car, with no poles, and the beam they used is 18" tall, incredible size! I have a great corner lot, and have a 43 foot deep forth garage entering from the rear of the house into the basement walk out. Our closing date is March 31st, and should have no problems hitting it. We have not tried to hard on the FSBO, but have a sign in the front yard, no hits, but not concerned. If you get a chance, our house is on the corner of 97th ave and Centennial Rd.

Only in the metro. No snow on the ground in Mo Valley (north of the metro) and no snow on the ground at hwy 370 & I - 29 (south of the metro). I have been hauling all day. I 29 is in good shape except between Crescent and 16th exit in Council Tuckey.

3:30 pm No snow here yet.

Course there's no damned windows in the O.R. so I have no idea what the hell's going on outside. Could be 90 and sunny for all I know!

I just woke up from a nap. I parked the big rig. No sense in killing a family or myself. I guess I was wrong with the total. That nap felt nice. Mrs ASH and I curled up and got sleepy together, no one comes to their dental appts on a good day let alone a bad day.

Off to teach aerobics.

Us New Yorkers love to see the snow when boating is not an option. Got 20 inches last weekend and now rain last night destroyed most of it. Let it snow!!! Snowmobiles are ready to go.

Ash, what do you have (snowmobile)?

eddie
12-15-2003, 09:05 AM
ET - ASH's sled quit on him this weekend. It's a Yamaha LE Phazer I think.

How about the snow fall for tonight?

ASH
12-15-2003, 02:16 PM
It is a Phazer II---- 1996. Havent looked into the repair yet. It gets ridden hard and put away wet all the time. It was just a matter of time before it went kerploooohy. I think I still burned up 4 gals of fuel on Sunday.
