Anyone been to Milford lake in Kansas? Planning on the 3 hour trip there in a couple weeks and just curious if it was worth the effort. I heard it is a pretty nice lake and campgrounds. Any opinions???

I have been there a couple of times, I have some friends that dirt bike up there. We camped in the school creek area. No hookups but it was nice and the cove there is deep to bring boats into. It is a nice lake for Kansas. They have a party area called nudie beach where you can just park your boat on the sand bank, that is nice because you do not have to worry about tieing up.

Nice lake!! Well worth the drive.
Have you been to Perry? It's a little closer.

Yes, Milford is really nice, but Perry is, too. Perry has a party cove, a restaurant and several campgrounds (I am sure some have hookups). Either lake is worth visiting.....and both have high water levels right now.
We're planning to get quite a few MWBP peeps together again at Perry on June 18th and 25th.
