Talked with BJ the manager and he is going to rope the docks again for us and we can order off the menu. He said an accurate count helps him a lot because last year he was expecting 50-60 and we had almost 100 when we got there :oops:

Trying to get a head count on the annual lunch run to Big Dicks.

We plan to meet this year at the 13.5 Mile Marker in front of Terry Summers Web cam at the lake so those that can't make it can at least see what they missed.

As usual it is a group of boaters heading to lunch and beverages and no rules. We usually cruise up there at a leisure pace and any size boat is welcome.

IF you are in please post how many so I can contact BDHWI and ask them to reserve the docks.

Standard disclaimer, Not a race or poker run and no guaranty on the number of bar tenders at dicks. Just get to meet some fun people!

Meet time would be 10:45 AM and off at 11:00 and to Dicks about noon. Will stop at the bridge for a few minutes to pick up those farther down the lake.

By the looks of the list I am not sure there will be enough people to warrant the buffet. I think its a good idea if there are a lot of people, but the turn out just not seem to be there this year.

It was a blast. We have not gotten out for a run yet this season, kind of like stretching your legs. We joined up at the 21 mm and ran to the Hurricane Deck Bridge with the PACK but had to turn back. I had brother and sister inlaw arriving at the condo.

We had a little electrical problem and had to limp back on one engine, I want to thank all who stopped to help, and who ever gave Dan and Jody a lift back,
