Kim,
Do you have a product that will take some slight yellowing out of the gel coat? What products and what steps? Am I SOL?

Thanks

Actually, we have compounds. Or, if not too bad, you can buff with Shark Tower. This will remove the yellowing and leave a waxed finish in one step.

If it's bad, try some muratic acid. It's rough stuff, though...so be careful. And, always wax over it after you apply anything that harsh.

What is the best stuff for oxidation in the gel?

Depending on the degree of oxidation. For light to medium, use the Shark Tower. For medium/heavy, you will need to compound. We manufacture compound, or you can try Aqua Buff or Aqua Blue. The "Aqua" products are very similar products, very inexpensive, and very effective.

Be sure to wash the surface between compounding and waxing. ALWAYS wax after compounding to protect the work you've done.
