BTW, the 7th annual Missouri River Poker Run is July 16th out of Dodge Park.

RC Olsen's is usually the same weekend as the Shootout or the weekend before.

Hello everyone!!! I am new to the forum and just started boating the mighty mo last year. Used to go to Branched oak and pawnee but they suck now!!!!
I haven't seen anything about the poker run July 30th sponsored by Lincoln marine Omaha. I hope everyone knows about it.

WELCOME!!! We just started really boating on the river this year as well...used to go to Branched Oak and Pawnee as well....bummer that those are so bad, it's a BETTER place to take kids & dogs when we take them along. But the river is great to meet lots of new people! We have a Crownline and haven't seen anything on the Lincoln Marine Poker Run either.... [smilie=071.gif]

I was at Lincoln marine last fri and Jay told me about it. It will be at NP Dodge this year. July 30th!!!

Boatingaholic, did you go to the Loop Cruise? Unless I am mistaken I think you and I were neighbors growing up. 186th Avenue in good old Bennington? Looking forward to hooking up on the river some time.

Boy it is a small world. We were ready to go to the CLC but 2 days out we saw rain and temps in the lower 50's. My bimini top hadn't come in yet so we cancelled. Next year rain or shine. I am kicking myself for not going!!!
What color is your boat? We ussually do the Bellevue to NP Dodge run. It seems less busy at the dock and less boats on the river.

We have a burgundy and white 180. Or Spinel Wine as Crownline calls it. Can you believe next summer is our 20 year reunion??? :shock:

Normally we put in at Dodge Park and go north, but if we know you guys are heading out to the river sometime we can certainly head down south instead.

Last time I really talked to anyone from School was shortly after Christmas time, I ran into Scott & Jackie, and Bryan D & his girlfriend at WalMart. Still talk to Travis D and Scott W too. How about you? See any old classmates anymore?

Yeah, 20 years...WOW. I saw Jackie about 2 years ago at Lowes and Michelle D kids go to my boys' school so I see her from time to time but that's it. This weekends weather looks bad [smilie=1381.gif] I wanted to go Saturday but there might be only a small window of opportunity and I don't want to get caught on the river in a storm. I have only been north of NP Dodge once but we could meet up some Sat and have a few [smilie=trink39]
