Well I finally found out that we aren't getting hit as hard as I thought on Taxes this year, so I've got the go ahead on the stereo!!!
I decided to replace the old Clarion Stereo, Amp, CD Changer with newer versions of Clarion. I'm hoping that I can use alot of the same wireing!?!? I'm also replacing the VCR with a Dvd/Vcr combo and the old tube style TV to a LCD Flat Screen.
Where is the BEST/Cheapest place to buy Clarion Stereo equipment?? I want the CMD4 Stereo, two CMRC1 remotes, the 6 disk changer, I think the smaller 160w amp.
Anyone have anything good or bad to say about Clarion???

My Baja came with the clarion reciever and it has always performed well, they see to take the sun and water well. I know Eddie's got the same unit in his OL.

I did the XMD3 with two remotes, Duncan found the head unit for $150 and the remotes for $90. Cables were from cardomain.com for $24 each and one "Y" connector. You can find the head units on ebay for around $150 as well.

I like the Clarion in my Searay. Works great, but it is in the cuddy so anything will work fine there.
The wiring will be fine, but as for the power to the amp you might want to run some cable. Instead of getting a changer, might I suggest Sirius/XM? I hardly EVER use the cd player anymore with that installed. Plus, no SKIPPING when it is a rough day out.
