Does anyone know what takes the marks off that are left behind from the trailer's receiver roller. The roller on my trailer is the clear yellowish. I have tried several things and nothing seems to take it off.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Accetone (I think that's how you spell it) You can get this at any Marine store or at Walgreens in the form of nail polish remover when you are detailing at 2 a.m. in the morning. [smilie=657.gif]

There is a product I use when I get scum on my boat called "Whitey's On/Off". Works miracles on getting all kinds of dirt, grime, exhaust stains.
If you use it, make sure to where gloves and eye protection. It is safe for gelcoats but will burn your skin and if you get it on your clothes it will take the color out of them.

Pick up a bottle of black streak remover at a marine store. Takes it off w/o effort. I keep a bottle on board to wash off the mystery black streaks that happen after a rain shower.

I normally don't pimp out products unless I've tried something and found that it works well. Over the weekend a buddy brought some of this Blaze Concentrated Citrus Cleaner/Degreaser over, I was very skeptical of the stuff as I've tried other "Citrus Cleaners" in the past and they didn't work. (And this is not intended in any way to knock any other Citrus Cleaners that may be associated with this site) this is just something that I have used and I know works.
We tried this stuff on our boats, 1oz. mixed with 20 oz. water in a spray bottle and this stuff will take off the roller marks you're talking about as well as any other marks on your boat. I have a white boat and around the exhaust ports it was dingy from the smoke getting into the cracks and crevaces of the gelcoat, this stuff did an AMAZING job. It took off stains on my buddies boat seats and even Tar off his Trailer. It's a bit pricey at $34.95 for a 12 or 14 oz. bottle but remember I was just using 1 oz. of this to 20 oz. of water, you can adjust the concentration ratio depending on what you are cleaning. So,
a bottle could go a long long way.
Like I said, I don't pimp out stuff that I don't believe in, and this stuff made me a believer. You can pick the stuff up at www.Blazeproducts.biz and No, I'm not getting anything to promote or endorse this product, just my own humble opinion. It is the CHIT!

2 words....Waxing Frenzy! Kill 2 birds with one stone! Removes the marks and protects the hull at the same time. You'll be amazed how easy it is. Personally, I never understood the concept behind "black streak remover". Like it's some foreign substance that you have to have a special chemical to remove. The key is to keep things simple. Spend your money on beer, not task-specific products.

Good old Goof Off will take it off. Won't hurt your gel coat. Sells for around 5 bucks. It also takes stains off of your vinyl.
