How far is Omaha from LOTO?
Is this a good run to attend?
Will you have water there buy July 16th? [smilie=042.gif] [smilie=265.gif]

Driving the speed limit(s), about 6 hours.
When we drive it - 5 hours.
There are only about 6-7 stops, so if you've been to any of the "Hops" @ LOTO, it doesn't compare.
Good ? as far as the water level. Even if water is plentiful from winter run-off, there is always controversy (Politics) either between the "Northerners" not wanting to "share," or the conservationists who want to keep the water level down for a few certain bird & fish populations.

Nan-Sea,
Is it your intention to shorten the run this year?
Or will it still go from the Anchor to Blair?

The plan right now is to include Cottonwood as a stop. I should have that confirmed in the next few days.
If anyone has an opinion on this or is concerned about gas prices with running it that far, I'd like to hear from you.

I know gas prices are a beeeeatch but I think the run should still include cottonwood as we really only have two of these a year and one of the great things is making a run to cottonwood. Something that I don't do EVERY weekend. I generally just plan ahead for the extra petrol. Plus, I'll need a place up north to get some ice! [smilie=alc]

Satisfied and Nipples, I figured that one out on my own, The poker run in Omaha is a blast. well worth the trip as long as you aren't leaving on Sunday morning. My first year of boat ownership was 04 and we only made the smaller poker run and loved every second of it. Didn't get the rig until the end of June so we missed this one which is bigger from what I'm told. C'mon up and I'll supply ya with a cocktail or 30. By the way, I was in Wausau this week. Freakin still snow on the ground!
Hope to see ya!

Where can boats dock at Dodge Park? They don't have transient slips from what I remember. When we did it years ago we just pulled up to the bank inside the marina, is that still the case?
Also any chance the marina will open up their ramp for use to participants?
