Omaha Boat Shows - February 2005

Is anyone going to the Omaha boat shows this month? I'm a "newbie" to the site and I'd like to meet some of the Omaha area members if anyone's going. There will be one at the Omaha Civic Auditorium Feb. 11th-13th and at the Qwest Center on the 25th-27th. I wish I could provide more info. but I haven't found any.

a small group of us are going to the qwest center boat show(about 4or5) so far i think the qwest center will be the bigger of the two shows. we usally go on a sat or sun. its like a small fix for your winter blues, its warm you get to drink beer, and hang out on nice boats whats not to love about that!!! I might go to the Civic show on Sunday. My 4 year old hasn't got to climb around on any Eliminators lately [smilie=042.gif] :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

The civic show was put together by a bunch of the local dealers.

I think the Quest show is the Boat, Sports and Travel Show. Bigger show in general , but probably about the same as far as boats go.

We aren't going to the boat show (25-27), as we went to KC's. But, we're up for a MWBP get together!

Of our 2 children, 1 will be out of town. Which means on our end, we need to start planning. So I'll start here.

First we need to determine if we need a kid friendly place, then pick it. Also need the times that work for people, & a head count (especially if eddie brings his 15 guys with him).

For us: Kid friendly if we can't find a babysitter.

Counting the highest current responses (except for BLONDII, who never replied), there would be 37 people.
And that's not including all the other "Omahans," or anyone else willing to travel for a MWBP party. I want to see if the Iowa gang & those that went to Sioux City can "pull off" 2 weekends in a row [smilie=265.gif]

Read the last post on page 1 & the others that follow. No, a time & location has not been determined. As mentioned, we need to 1st figure out if we need a kid-friendly place, which we know now that we do.

Party??? Are we talking hooking up at someones home or in a tavern or was it a barn? What's this party supposed to look like?
