Wow! Last night was beyond anything I imagined it would be! Thank you all so much for being such great supporters of the site and coming out to share what was the best time we've all had in a long time!! Every time I start to get frustrated with DJ for spending so much time on the computer, I will remember the image of 200+ people, most whom have never met, standing together (close together) watching that DVD and sharing the memories that have been made over the last year. Thank you all so much.

Congratulations Jeff! You're the greatest!

An absolute success for what is essentially a volunteer "staff" of people. I can't imagine the man hours that went into it. You guys rock! [smilie=rocker]

We couldn't ask to meet a nicer goup of people. We felt like part of a family from the minute we walked in. Well worth our trip! Can't to see you all at LOTO this summer.[smilie=042.gif]

A special shout out to Doubleblended. You got all us deadazzes on our feet and rockin on the dance floor. Way to wake us up. [smilie=042.gif]

I tried to get around and meet everyone personally, introduce myself and finally be able to put a screenname and face together. I know I missed some of you ... sorry.
Amazing how a camera and a thong will win out over an introduction.

My lucky night or actually weekend. Met so many of the wonderful friends in person that I've met here. I was Really surprised at how many people "knew" me. Saw many others again which is Always Good. Went to an Awesome Party put on by a bunch of hardworking people for the benefit of all. Somehow seemed to have picked up the name ToyBoy or something similar, for some reason, not sure who from though. Not sure if that was good or not... Must have had impaired hearing or memory or thinking or walking or E, All of the above. Was it as foggy outside as inside that night?
Ate some Great Ribs on Friday provided by a very unselfish Party Animal and BBQ world Champ to be by the name of Christian. (Remember we knew you before you become famous...other than for the party and food in your room and the aroma of ribs all the way down the hall of the hotel) I won a Gift Certificate to the Brass Door Restaurant at LOTO sponsored by Terry and Martha Summers of Summers At The Lake.com, one of our Great Site Sponsors, two cases of beer, a Really Nice Revolution Marine shirt. And it was the right size even. Probably due to the special Good Luck Charm in charge of my raffle tickets. It was never said but I think she was afraid of an old guy having had two beers poking his eye out trying to put his glasses on to read his tix every time and getting lost trying to go claim the prizes and get back and she didn't want that on her conscious, so she handled it all. Thanks Janet! (And No I don't need glasses to drive the boat)
Also got rid of a few parts for more room in the shop and got a good deal on some boat goodies that even match my boat Thanks to Mr/MRS Hell Ya.
Then to cap it off stopped in Topeka to see some friends and left the Casino with more than I went with. Didn't crash in the snow on the way home and as far as I heard everyone made it home safely. What else could a person ask for??????
Yep! MWBP.com is THE definition of Family!

01-31-2005, 11:32 PM
OHHHH that key. I thought maybe you meant my room key after two beers.
No actually I'm at work on a X-terminal. When I originally posted it it was fine but when I edited the post it came out that way. I just tried again with the same results so I'll fix it when I get home. I agree it's a PIA to read like that. And Lord knows we don't need any complications after two beers two nights in a row over the weekend.

Your post might have been a bit of a PITA to read, Tempest, but I thought it was beautifully written. [smilie=1074.gif] Some true appreciation spoken there and the part about putting on your glasses had me grinning.
