Thanks for getting the cops called before I got back to the hotel. I was the last one to leave p-otts with only a short drive home pulling my trailer, the last thing I wanted to see was a police car. Good thing I only saw 4, plus the one at the hotel already. As soon as I got in the lot all I wanted to do was park and get out but there was no place to park my trailer so I had to keep driving, with them all watching me.

I was at the KU Basketball game and getting calls from Al (AJB), Justin (Obnoxous21), Rich HTM, for not being there! :roll:

Man, I'm really kicking myself for not leaving right after the game and going to the party!! We stuck around Lawrence and a few beers with the people we got the tickets from. The "Wheel" and the "Hawk" were both rockin, but even hanging out with the owner of the "Hawk" and Brian McRae (the baseball player) doesn't hold a light to the fun you guys were having!! Of Coarse I would have been "stag" because the Mrs.'s is about ready to POP!! :shock: and not really feeling like partying :roll: Only 9 days to go!!!! [smilie=071.gif]

When BD and I were looking at places the party had been discussed for awhile and it looked like 130 or so people were coming so we settled on P.Otts. As it got closer the list just kept growing and growing. A hotel ball room would have been big bucks for that many people.

We picked P.Otts because it was staggering distance from the Drury and would not be crowded for the KU game like every other bar in OP is. I think it was crowded there, but worked OK. I doubt it would work next year.

It was not for a lack of looking that we ended up where we did, it was the only thing available on a basketball weekend.

When I went back Sunday morning to get my two cases of beer Generously Donated to be raffled off I got to talking to the guy running the place that morning.
To Fred P Otts credit I Did get one of the two cases of beer I won and it took them a few minutes to find it. It would have been very easy for the staff to have kept it and asked if I was crazy for coming to a bar looking for left behind beer... He also told me they had been WARNING some of their regular Saturday night people as the party got sloser as they were afraid they may be shocked...

I have to agree with BD. I was making my way around to gather as many pics of all the members that I could. I noticed a lot of camera flashes of where the girls were dancing so I wanted to make sure I got all the other partying that was going on. I am about through with getting all the pics resized so we'll get them posted tomorrow.

Welcome new guy, I noticed your shirt and thought it was frigging hilarious! I'm glad you could attend the party in our absence, and meet all these great people. I was hoping we could make it, but there's always next time. It's great to see everybody having fun in the pics though.
