I'm cooking a pork butt this afternoon for my son's birthday party on Saturday. I've never cooked ahead of time for such an event.

Any tips on reheating the pork to make it taste close to as good as it's going to tonight? Crock Pot or oven? Add some apple juice?
Should I go ahead and pull it or wait till Saturday?

Vacuum seal it and put it in the freezer, when you need it pull it out and put it in a pot of boiling water and it will taste like you just cooked it, we do this all the time with brisket. We cook 10 to 12 at a time cut them in halve. They taste like they just came off the pit

You can also use a freezer zip lock as well, I pull when hot then place in bag and when reheating it will melt all the fat and it re absorbs back into the meat............mmmmm good eats [smilie=trink39]

Thanks guys. I used zip lock bags and it worked nicely.
I guess this does give me another reason to get a vacuum sealer.
