We are about two weeks from meeting at Perry.
Julie and I are wondering what the plans are for Friday and Saturday night for supper. Are we going to do a "cookout" type thing one of those nights? Eating at one of the bars?
I know Saturday night we have to go to a wedding reception, don't know how long it will last or anything.
Hell we can bring some propane bottles and wieners and cook on ttownmatts boat.
I just want to get some dialog going.

Sheldon, I will say what everyone else is thinking or hoping!
Just send Julie with the food and you can stay home! Besides, don't you have to sell something??

What about everyone bring something to grill and then a salad or desert? I'll have a small grill with us.
We'll have the fifth wheel there, and there's a small grill that mounts on the side of it.... and of course the oven and stove inside. :)

Hell, it's close enough I'd even come pick ya up when you got in... as long as it was Thursday evening or early Friday morning.... [smilie=crazy]

Billard (KTOP) and Lawrence (KLWC) are the closest paved. As BDM said, Blackhawk is pretty close...1700' though so you better get a J3:shock:

JohnP I hope you like Chile Cheese Fritos and Dr Pepper 'cause that is about all I am good for.
DJ I will be on a business trip that weekend, it will be an insurance agents retreat at the lake. Lets see, mileage, lodging, food, booze, misc expense. You're damn straight I'm working. I will see you at the retreat. [smilie=106.gif]
Triple B You are welcome to plug the smoker in at our cabin, Max asked me while we were at Milford if he could use our power for his smoker also. That will limit it to only one cabin lost to a fire. DJ and I can be on fire patrol since no one will let us on their boat. :smoke1:

Sheldon - there will be some type of food available at the reception Saturday night, if you guys want to eat dinner there. That is what we're planning on doing. :) Gonna hit Duke's or Boondock's for dinner on Friday night.

There is one just north of Lawrence, about a 10-15 minute drive from the lake.
