Looks good[smilie=trink39]

It will kind of be like being on the old course at Shooters,
where the guns were on your left side.

Now if only you guys could figure out how to get us back
down to the staging area faster than idle speed;)

For us slower boats, do we have to come off plane and down to idle completely within the shut down zone? IE, can we turn at all while coming off plane to get out of the way sooner?

You need to be off plane before exiting the course.

Thanks for the link. I hope that they let the big guys get a bigger runup on the start so that we can see them laying it all out! the side by side races were also cool this past year. The Shootout is an awesome weekend.

Not that you could see much from Capt. Rons of the boats going by, now it looks like you'll see even less unless you are in a spectator boat? After running last year it would be nice to see the run up distance reduced to a point where the driver's can actually see the green flag, some guy's started so far from the course I couldn't tell what they were driving, no possable way they could see the flag. Slow's everybody down. Would like to see more side by side runs, and how about if your boat can run 120+ a start speed of mabey 60? That should help the overall top speeds of the big dogs, 1 mile, I bet these guys are still accellorating through the gun. Just some thoughts and observations from last year. Plan to be back if family health issues don't keep me out.
