I was out at the family farm putting in a garden for my grandpa and i have always been fascinated by this.... my great grandfather placed this syth (sp) in the fork of a tree about 60 years ago and then nature took its coarse... apparently he had forgotten about it..

Neat.

On our place we had an old shed that one of the ancestors left a steel wagon wheel leaning against the shed. A tree grew up through the middle of the steel wheel. Pretty neat to see a 40' tree with a steel wagon wheel around the base.
