What a great weekend  Started with a litlle get together Friday nite at the Hell Ya's, 2:00 am boat splashing (Thanks Amer3 & Andy), back to Hell Ya's for Bloody Marys & coffee, and then Harbor Hopping up the Gravios. First stop was the Dummy, then Timeout, Frankie & Louie's, Ozark BBQ. Dorcy's for a little dinner with DocJim and then back to Hell Ya's for more partying, BC showed up as did Hawk40. Had to finish the last 3 stops on Sunday too many [smilie=1062.gif] and too much fun. I would like to give a BIG thanks to the Hell Ya's for hosting dock parties all weekend. [smilie=appl]

Not a drop of rain all weekend  . Sun even popped out on Saturday. Sunday was overcast and cool, but no rain. [smilie=011.gif] Never, never, never plan a boating day based on a weathermans forecast. If you do, you'll miss some great boating days and fun times.

What a great time!!
Friday at ABJ's was great!!!
Crab's at Docknockers were AWESOME!!!
It was great to see everyone one last time.

As for Saturday, sorry I didn't get the chance to meet more of you, we were pressed for time. I saw Grumpy Bullet and crowd at the Dummy and also met a guy from Omaha (I suck at names) that has a Condo in the Gravois with a Sweet 32ft Baja!!

We started the "Hop" at 10am Sat. morning and finished about 2:30p.m. and headed for Kansas City!!

I think I saw the Hell Ya crew arriving at the Dummy as we were going by.

I also believe I saw the crew from Platte City in the Black Thunder!!

I had an absolute BLAST!!! Only issue was some AZZHOLE  pulled a hit and run while I was docked at BackWaterJacks. THe nerve [smilie=101.gif] Luckily the people tied up in the area saw this happen and took down the name of the boat and the numbers off the hull. So needless to say, I reported the incident to Shore Patrol and am waiting on whether or not they locate the people and I can get a claim the front gets fixed [smilie=106.gif]

BTW, GQ rules  [smilie=1074.gif] [smilie=1074.gif]

Good to hear everybody had a great time. My crew and I did also. It was great meeting more from the site. OB21 sorry to here about the hit and run. There was a lot of that going on this weekend. I got bumped at F&L's (luckily no damage), saw a couple of rubs at the Toad.

Looking forward to next this year as always was too fast.

We also had a great time. The weather turned out pretty good considering what they were forecasting. Can't wait until it's time to get back on the water!

I had a great time. It was nice to meet a few new people and see some boating friends. Sorry we did not stay at one bar long, when your crew wants to leave not a lot you can do. Sorry no pix I forgot my camera. [smilie=106.gif]

Time to put the boat in the cave for the winter. [smilie=106.gif]

We had a great time as well, that is until everyone decided to show their muscle and leave the little Maxum in their prop wash [smilie=265.gif] [smilie=265.gif] No big deal though, by the time we got to the Toad Cove we ran into Sieze n Ticket, Baja Craig and the rest of their crew. I think we met some new folks there as well, but by that time, things were starting to get a little fuzzy [smilie=071.gif]

Anyway, great to see all you guys again!!!

We saw 1 water patrol on Saturday, had someone pulled over in his typical spot near F & L's. He wasn't in a new Donzi. That must be keeping clean and saving them for next year.

Oh, I saw a Waterpatrol, Saturday morning about 10:30am, I saw him and didn't want to cut him off so I took a corner wide around him and he turn right around and I knew what he was doing. He pulled up and I could not hear him very well but I think he said
"Didn't I just pull you over?"
I answered "What?"
WP "Oh, nothing...Where is your Registration sticker?"
Me "I don't need one, It's Documented in Kansas"
WP "Do you keep it down here?"
Me "No, not for over 60days at a time, I trailer it back and forth"
By then he could tell I knew the law and said well OK at least show me four life vest's, I did and he went on his way. I seemed real young, he must have been one of the new recruits.

That had to be Paul Skank or his soon to be son in law Tony. They both have 32 ft Baja's and both have condos in that arm. Paul has his motors built by CPR they sound REALLY good.

We saw Paul ($hredder) a couple of times during the run. We ran into him at the both the Dummy and F & L's. And yes his boat does sound very good.

Fun Home- I think that was a new 30 OL. I saw them both leave the Dummy however I saw Shedder at just about every bar we went to and the 30 OL was no where around. So I am not sure that they were together. That boat sounded healthy, but it did have a lot of smoke at take off's. Might have been running a little rich at low rpm’s. wish my boat sounded that good. Docjimm, as for keeping up? We were at Kinsers last night getting a block bored for our sons Camaro. Got to see his new 710 ci. PSI super charged /innercooled/ fuel injected /all aluminum / Titainium rods / ect. ect. boat engine. The one in his boat now may be for sale it is only 575 ci. though but made 1650 hp on the dino and has ran 149 on gps. in his 26 footer. If you buy it tell Tammy she can ride with us [smilie=071.gif] as long as she doesn't pick on me too much [smilie=071.gif] [smilie=071.gif] Jeff

Notched,

Now I really wish I would have gone to the hop. My wife and I went to the NBAA mon-wed. It was an amazing show. Did you make it out to Henderson for the static show? Now that was unreal...all those toys in one big line to slobber on! Anyway, how are you tied to the aviation world?

Yes, I was at the Static Show for a while on wednesday. Went there to meet with a customer and look at his Beechjet 400A. The owner is around my age and just bought it. Must be nice to be able to afford a 1993 $3 million business jet.

Harrison Ford came by our booth. I heard Micheal Douglas and John Travolta were walking around the show as well. We were right across from the Raytheon (Beechcraft/Hawker) booth.

Big toys for the well off.

I sell avionics for Elliott Aviation.

What brings you into aviation?
