Fantastic!!!! That first shot is a tough lighting scene, you did a great job on that.

The ultra wide is phenominal!!!! I just bought a 14-40 and can't wait to get out and use it.

It the tree HDR?

You just a hobbyist? That's really nice work!

Great Shots - sean257 - I especially like the one from lake point tower! CHI-TOWN!

Do you have a condo in there? I shoulda bought the one my friend sold for $250K years back -
now about $500K - but I thought that was too much for 700sq ft back then.

Thanks! Your Hawaii picks look like they belong in a magazine.

I cheated on the umbrellas a bit using photoshop to adjust shadow and highlights. The tree is just a regular shot of an ice covered tree, but I changed it to sepia in photoshop and had it printed on metallic paper. I have a Tamron 11-18mm because the nikon was too much for me to justify spending, as I only take pictures for my own amusement (and to decorate the house)

We go to Chicago once a year for a long weekend, and I have managed to find rentals by owner each time. I got lucky and found one on the 60th floor of LPT for $200ish/nt. It is no longer available, so we stayed over by Millennium park last year. I agree on the $250k - who would have thought?

These are from last Sept.

Tamron makes fantastic lenses! I own 3 out of my 6, the other 3 are Canon. While Canon is known for great glass, all 3 of my tamron got better reviews in head to head matches. The 3 canons I have beat the tamrons. I'm not brand loyal, I'll take the best glass, and often that means tamron even though it's a lot cheaper than the same canon lens. Anyway, keep up the great work!

I'm debating between the Tamron 10-24mm f3.5-4.5 & Tokina 11-16mm f2.8
