Sitting here around the fireplace looking out into the back yard, at our 5 ft tall drifts of snow. Monica, out of the blue askes if I have our reservations made for the Perry Partys this year??
I tell her no and she's heartbroken[smilie=106.gif]
So what gives?
Anyone else give this any though yet??
Last weekend in June?? Thats the weekend after Fathers Day.

We've thought about it several times and would love to come down, but we only have so many times a Summer that we can abuse the grandparents. If we can get them to watch the kids we can usually talk them into 4 nights and then we head to LOTO. You never know though.

On another note, I did just check the KDP website and their are cabins available....May just do that this time, versus bringing a MH and Truck....I truly am ready for summer, but the way......Live Life

Got the dates on the calendar and not scheduling anything the day before ... or the day after the party weekend! Now if we could only get some warm weather so I can replace the seal in my lower unit :) .

When I made my reverations today Rock Creek had 3 rooms left and the cabins were open still. :)
She said that weekend was booking up pretty fast![smilie=trink39]
She could not commit to a 24 ft slip, though, she said its not an issue.

I just booked what I think is the last cabin in the camp ground area in the state park. No more of this tent BS.... Now let's fast forward to june, I'm ready to party perry style.

I got my receipt in the mail before I left town last week. Zitlow, did you get a room? I have been with a few of the Perry Peeps the last 4 days,,,,,,they sure are tanned for being the middle of winter....:shock:

Which cabin did you get richie? I reserved the apache cabin, I believe it is... It showed to be the only one open still in the state park, so I just grabbed it up. After not being able to unzip my tent last year, I don't feel like sleeping in the grass. A screen door is much more easily operated.... haha

Looks like our wives won't have any trouble getting on a boat.
You can sit on the dock with me. [smilie=106.gif] We will pretend like we were having fun and make shit up to tell people as they come back so they will think all the action was at the camp site.
