We caught this catfish last night (on a goldfish) behind a dike on the missouri river.
So what do you think happened to it?

I would say either a parasitic infection or some type of fungal infection?! I agree dont eat it unless you are tom hanks in the pacific!:shock:

I agree. If a fungus removes the "slime" off of a fish (whether a scaled or smooth fish), the skin below will deteriorate pretty quickly, so I've been told by the DNR.
