I can't bring myself to buy a jacket & helmet for 4 runs. Anyone willing to rent, lend or otherwise barter these items for the Shootout??

Even more expensive when you divide the cost by 1 and a 1/2 runs.....
Good luck with the search!
And even more luck with the Prop Shafts.

Reggie / Stevo - You are not going to let Jason get out of do these run this easily are you ?
Do you have to have lifelines to run?
Use to be 100 mph rated jacket, not neccessarily
a Lifeline....although I have a lifeline now.
Jason, I think we can figure something out.;)

Richie, I'm not backing out by any means. The boat is coming to Wichita in a week or two to let Ben put some more squeeze on the fat girls.
Christian, Brian, cool. Either will be fine. Much appreciated.
JT, lets work something out. I like the way you think.

It doesn't break on the trailer.
BTW, this will be the last year with the blower motors in the boat. It better go 93 in the Shootout or I'll have to keep em in another year.

Not sure if these are still allowed at the shootout however I did use them. Also racing jetski jackets where also allowed once and both are alot cheaper than lifeline.
How about ol' the Ragin Cagin

I hear ya, I like to leave mine on the lift a lot doesn't break there either.
If you need anything, give me a call, I'll hook you up.
93 mph.... That's pretty fast.... Hope you do it, I'll shoot for 75 mph and hope that happens, sometimes their gun doesn't read just right....

I hear ya on the gun speeds. I know my junk gets rung out in a mile so I ought to be in good shape.
I'd be happy to see 90 mph.;)

Is that a signature helmet, Joey? Don't recognize it. I'll be rockin' my Edwards replica.
Dig that Russell helmet, too. He did a good job commentating the Topeka superbike race this weekend, IMO.
Jason, I'm bucking up for a jacket. I figure it'll come in handy considering performance boating is in the plans for a while.

I have a few extra life line Jackets ( Yellow) that I do not use
I would be willing to bring them to the Shootout to loan them, if needed

See if I can jog some memories, I bought it about 20 years ago when I still had YZ 360 Yamaha and was young enough to ride it, or is that stupid [smilie=crazy] .
Back then there was a guy from Louisiana who rode Motocross and his nickname was the Ragin Cagin, don't know if you ever heard of him.
I've had 7/8 bikes and always kept the helmet, it's a BELL and like brand new, it really doesn't fit on a Harley.

I think someone else offered theirs up as well. I might take one of you up on that in light of the recent lay-off. I'll PM.
