Well since John shut down the Duck for the year had to come up with a plan b.

So while sitting at the bar at home I came up with an idea to cover plan b.

I have an old fridge sitting under the cabin... That works so my wife got me some birthday presents and I grabbed a hole saw..

Grabbed a keg from Woods up in Greenview, drilled a hole and let the fridge cool down and keg settle...

gave it all a good cleaning from sitting under the cabin for years not being used..

Went boating for a while and came back to the cabin and enjoyed my birthday present from my wife.. Now I look forward to sitting on the deck by the lake even more

I am going to build a table with a drip tray in it to sit in front of the fridge and may bring it home over the winter and paint it up..


So who else enjoys a nice cold draft brew at home? Show off those bars...

Considering this myself. How long will beer stay fresh in a keg?

according to micromatic beer fourms the keg should be good for 3 months with co2 on it. but i have not had a keg last more than 3 or so weeks... check the fourms out at www.micromatic.com lots of info there. that is where all of the parts came from

I am still fighting foam alittle bit but wonder if the regulator may not be bad. I had a bottle/regulator/tap given to me and I replaced the tap but not the reg. so I may upgrade the regulator at some point and see if that helps..

We have not been down nearly enough this year, but will be for an Adults only weekend in a couple weeks. We'll buzz by and see if anyone is around.
