What is the requirements for life jackets as far as speed rating goes? I am thinking of entering the PWC but I do not have a 100mph rated jacket. Also what are the rules reguarding boats and speed ratings on the jackets?

We already have over 60 people that have pre registered. That is awesome! The online registration will close this Monday. Registration will be open on Thursday at Captain Rons until the auction begins. It will also be open on Friday till around 6 or so. We will be doing the inspections on Saturday and Sunday. Doug Knierim and his crew will be taking care of that. Also, for those of you who have been doing this for a while, there will be some familiar faces in the registration booth on Saturday and Sunday. Diana Dorhauer and her group of volunteers will be running it. Please thank her for returning if you think about it! We look forward to seeing everyone next week end!

Mike,
Anything different this year, proceedurally?

They will let you go up to 30mph at the start line, anything over that 30 to 40 will be deducted from your speed. Anything over that will be a disqualification.
