I was unimpressed with it. They didnt have the brand i'm looking for. Did anyone hear why Raymond's wasn't present? Did see Ash and some of the Neb/Iowa crew. Didnt introduce(SORRY), but i probibly the only one at the show with a Fountain hat on. So fire away with your input.

Fank & Louie's 32 Advantage boat. Was hooked up to a Dodge w/the same paint job. F4F would of loved it. I wish I would of got a picture of the entire package. Battries went dead 1/2 hour into the show and I had to go back out and get new ones and forgot about the truck hooked to the boat.

$20K off a 292 F4F should of waited a year to buy!

I got a better deal than that! We actually bought a Formula from Glen Cove at this same show last year, but they tried to stiff us with a crappy, used, tandem-axel trailer. [smilie=poop] Thank God we had written it into our contract that the deal was contingent upon 'trailer approval'. It took them a month to send us a photo and even longer to refund us our deposit! [smilie=076.gif]

That looks like the same exact 292 they were trying to unload last year. Twin 350's? Buyer Beware! Here's the trailer that goes with it - [smilie=071.gif]

Eddie...thanks for posting pics! It's the next best thing to being there...and thanks for calling and checking up on Nick.

He's doing much better today. We were packed and ready to walk out the door. I thought he just had a touch of food poisoning and that it had run it's course. I went down to check on him one more time and he had a 102 temp and was in the bathroom in terrible shape. [smilie=ash] I also had to rescue my daughter, Ashley, from Minnesota. She had no clue about the upcoming storm and I probably wouldnt have been following the weather closely enought to think of calling her. She drove her Mustang (bad in the snow) up there to visit her boyfriend. She left at 4:00 AM to drive home. She'll run into some of it, but thankfully will miss the brunt of the storm and wont be stuck there. She just called...she's home. [smilie=1074.gif]

I hope everyone makes it home safe!! Please wear your seatbelts!! [smilie=050.gif]

I sorry I didn't get there early enough to meet up with everyone!! Our little one had a fever and once we got that under control and dropped her of at the Sister-in-laws it was about 7ish we walked the show. Then headed to Johnny's for a little while then back to the sick one!!!

I liked the show, you can walk it in a relatively short time, yet see everything I wanted to see!! I just wish Big Thunder had a new 38 Special there!!

The salesman on the Formula 292 told me he could get upto $10K additional off on the 292 (after the $20K of rebates). He said they "really" want to get it sold at the show. It did have the 305mags.

As far as the show goes [smilie=071.gif] I did like it. [smilie=071.gif]

Never been in a Sunseeker 48 before... just around $750K would take it home. Actually, I didn't like it... althought it did have three 525's.

Good show... Thanks to all that recommended it. [smilie=042.gif]

$20K off a 292 F4F should of waited a year to buy!

I am wondering if I should wait or not. They worked up a good deal/offer on one at their shop withm 6.2'sand I have till 5:00 today to call and have the contract faxed and returned. Beautiful boat. Don't know if I really want to spend that much though. I would have to start at the bottom of the list for a wait for the bigger slip too.

If that is Glencove, and I think it is, they have really been trying to move those 292's. They made me a pretty good offer as well. But 100k is 100k anyway you slice it and a little to rich fo this po white boy. [smilie=106.gif]

Got to Rauls about 9:45. It was a little slow as the DJ did not start up until around 10:15 or so. DJ/HM/ASH/Gbone came over for a drink and then decided to go back to their place for the night and relax. We stayed at Rauls with Griff and Bobbie until around 12:30 or so. Had a good time, music was pretty good, cut a rug, saw some nice scenery [smilie=eck02.gif] , my wife Kim and Griff did a lot of [smilie=alc] . Next time you & Baja Chic will have to come out too!

I talked to both Billy Sullivan and Steve ?. Price for 03 292 with 6.2's, covers, hyd. steering, trans. shower, mech. indicators, top of the line audio, pumpout head and docking lights was $113052 plus $6000 for custom Prestige triple axle trailer. So $118,052 before rebates and further negotiations. Boat originally priced at $133,710.00. They were really low on trade for my boat. 10k less than what it would sell for. I was shocked at the documentation process to eliminate paying NE taxes.

#1 Thanks For the great pics!!!!!

The thing I hold against shiny new boats is that its hard (for me at least) to introduce people to boating. The scratches, holes, etc. are a bigger deal with me than they should be. Our old Baja has already seen it all. She's seen salt walter, sun, marinas, docks in storms, really bad driving, kids withouta clue. and a pile of drunks- n- dogs (some times at the controls). My strategy is to invest in an update/facelift in some area each. These show shows are great for generating excitement. At least in me. Oh ya and I go to she the ladies. Ha!
"No she's ugly" HA! HA! its all fun!

Did anyone hear why Raymond's wasn't present?

I think they will be at the other Lake of the Ozarks boat show 2/25 - 2/29 at the OP Int'l Trade Center. This is the original show that has been coming to OP for the past 15 yrs or so. Seems like overkill to me to have 2 shows in OP within one month of each other and I bet one of them will go down pretty soon. I think this was the second year for the new LOTO Marine Dealers show this past weekend [smilie=confused] , but I could be wrong.

We went down with 2 other couples and had a good time. It was as much fun socializing as seeing the new boats. Got a chance to see some old friends from the Sioux City boat club. This is probably terrible to say, but I was not impressed with many of the new boats. Especially the bajas. Looks like they are taking some shortcuts to keep pricing down. Swim ladder on top of the swim platform? I did really like the neat colored cup holders on the Envision boats. I think thats what they were. Really says alot if I'm more impressed with cup holders than the boats themselves...

Barb and I had a great time meeting everyone and we look forward to this summer and fun time on the water with you guys. I really wanted to enjoy a few adult beverages; however, the on call thing kinda screwed that up for me. I guess it was a good thing though...the call came in around 1800 hours and off to work I went. Worked all nightlong and drove home that next morning 0430 hours in a freaking ice storm. It was worth it as the homicide case we have been working for the past three weeks ended with two people confessing to the crime....YEAH one for the good guys! BTW...great pictures!
