My dash was or is really oxidated. It is kind of textured black. I have tried buffing with a mothers oxidation remover and it has gotten better but I have a real hard time with getting it all off. It seems like it dries up within the texture and I cant get it off so its like kinda shined up with some chalkyness still there. Anyone got any ideas or experience with it. only thing I am thinking is getting a new wool pad that is nice and fluffy to get down in there. thanks for any help. hope to get down to loto soon and meet some of ya.

Not sure how heavy the texture is but If possible start with wet sanding. If there is too much texture leverage makes an oxidation remover that is real gritty as well that I have used with success. Maybe if you post a pic we can give you some more specific ideas.

Try the Mothers product called "Back to Black" I use it on the black trim on my truck to hide white wax deposits/oxidation.
I'm not sure how it does it but it hides white on black.

Looking at the date of this thread you have probably figured it out by now. If not try Meguiars PlastX. It cleans and polishes. It is supposed remove light oxidation, chemical degradation, surface contamination, stains and light surface scratches.
