Pics from weekend.....

........fishing trip. Of course Junior outfished me again! We caught a bunch Thursday night, but had to work like hell to catch them the rest of the weekend, but we did. The good part is that most were in the 11-12" range, with a good bunch of them in the 12-13" range. Jrs big one was just over 14".

We caught several bass. here is a pic of one that Jr caught that was about 4 lbs. We keep crappies to eat, but the bass always go back into the water.

We will be down fishing again on Mammorial weekend.

Talked to a guy that was in a tournament Saturday. He told me a buddy of his turned in a 5 fish, 26lb sack from up around the 69 marker.

True... I saw a kid the other day in Lowe's that had his on sideways... I asked him why he wore it like that, he said "cause it's cool"...

So, I told him, "well, it may be "cool", but it looks like shit." and walked off. Kid was like :shock: like he couldn't believe I said that.

I was laughing about it though as I walked away. :mrgreen:

He usually has it down but I had him pull it up a bit because I though that his face was shadowed. I would be the first one to kick him in the ass if he wore it any different than "redneck" style!

In fact I found out tonight that we may come down again Friday night. Warmer water, sunny days this week, full moon. It all should be lined up for a great weekend!

we caught the majority of them with a 1/16 oz. jighead, chartruese tube jig, tipped with a minnow. 2 to 6 feet of water.

Point taken, and when there's a reason for it, I see no problem with it. What irritates me, is when kids wear their hats sideways or up and sideways because "it looks cool G!"

The crappies and bass wre all caught from our docks near the GG bridge. The sppoonbill came from the 85mm.
