We (my wife and I and father in law Al) are building a Street Rod, a '38 Olds. We will be getting it back from body/paint in 3-4 wks. pics are here under restorations http://www.autocraftomaha.com/ . All 3 cars were build by Al.
We need a 4 ch amp, it will power 4 Polk Audio 6.5 Momo components (Thanks BajaJeff) with a new Alipine headunit with a USB port on the face of it. No sub.
Im not apposed to used if its in good shape.
Lets here yous thoughts. [smilie=trink39]

An Alpine PDX 4.100 should work nicely. Its very compact and puts out plenty of power. About $275-300 new on ebay.

I like Profile amps. In my experience they are bullet proof.

MTX pricey but well worth it had alot of stuff and nothing compares
JL XD400/4. Class D. Very small. Plenty of power for the Polks. Two generations newer than the Alpine amp.

I always thought class d amps were for subs only

Used to be, but now the new digital amps are class d and work great for any use. Low power draw, don't get real hot, and very compact.
