I'm running a 350MAG w/ a Mercury High Five prop - what, if any, enhancement could I expect labbing the prop? Thanks. [smilie=042.gif]

What do you do with the boat mostly? pulling tube, skiers, run for speed.
I thought those high fives were for low end torque and pulling skiers.

I do all of the aforementioned; it's a rocket out of the hole, hits 58 on the GPS, corners well @ speed & is sloppy @ idle. I can't imagine I would gain much... just curious. [smilie=trink39]

I think you're right,, You aren't going to gain much, if any.

Thats a stern lifting, holeshot, ski puller prop. It should have good cruise speed as well. If you want more top end, try a Mirage Plus.

if you'd like to gain some top end without losing as much holeshot i'd drop to a 4 blade prop. you should still be left with plenty of pulling power & low planing speed.

58 GPS is a pretty good top end for a Rinker that size & a Hi5. what motor do you have?

I had good results running a Turbo 2+2 TH on my 20' runabout with a 5.0. It pulled out of the hole almost as good as the high 5 and added about 3mph on the top end.

Depends on the Lab recipe, they aren't all alike.

Standard recipe, expect stronger acceleration with a 100 rpm and a mile an hour on the top. Mostly we repair High 5's. We rarely Lab them although it has been done.

Thanks for the info. I think I'll leave it alone. Have a great day!
