The head on my 23' foot Crownline is nothing other than a closet for everyone to put their stuff. I'm thinking about moving the box out of my car into the head for the summer.

Has anyone else used the head for sub boxes before? Any other comments or suggestions?

Should be ok. If you are like most and stuff your wet noodles and jackets in there too, I would leave the door open when docked, the humidity that gets trapped in there would not be good. [smilie=106.gif]

Might also leave the door open while playing for max volume.

Thanks for the response. The noodles and life jackets go in the ski locker in the floor so I should be ok. I appreciate the feedback.

I noticed on our 266 the head was not watertight if you get stuck in a storm. The area with the fuse pannel in front of the drivers seat however was.

I plan on putting the amp in with the fuse panel. I will be sure to keep the box in the head up off the ground just in case.

I have two 12" subs in the head of my 31 IMP and it works great!

So you were getting wet while in the head, while stuck in a storm?? There has got to be a good story there someplace!
