Mind if I Smoke III (Big Dicks!!) - Friday 8/27/04

I know the timing is short, but it would be nice to make another run to Big Dicks Halfway Inn on Friday, August 27th (Friday of the LOTO Shootout). We have done this for the previous few years Shootouts and need to keep it going. We also did it for the Friday of The 4th this year and had 25-30 boats make the run.

So, with this in mind......lets meet out front of BWJ's cove (17mm) for an 11 AM departure up to Big Dicks. This will make it about a 30 mile run up the lake so at about a 40-45 MPH cruise we'll be there well before noon.

Lets get a head count so we can call ahead so they have enough help on staff!! [smilie=042.gif]

I'm sure I will have four on our boat.

Gonna be close though,, leaving STL that morning.. grabbing the boat from CP&R, LOTO's best marine performance shop (cheap plug), drop it in at PB2 and then meet up with you guys.. As of now,, at CP&R I have set of DANA billet tabs, new pumps, lines and switches for the guys to install.. Also there is a set of Livorsi controls laying there some place to go in.. and I just ordered a complete MSD systems.. for the new engines.. that are still under discussion as to what to build.. Great job putting on one of the best events at LOTO!

It was great to meet a couple of people from the Forum during the day at Dicks, hope to do it again soon.

Unfortunately, have no pictures due to mechanical failure..but it looked like several people had there cameras working.

I wish we could've been there! The storm that blew up around 1:00 derailed our plans. We were running late that day so everything fell apart.
