stereo buzzing

working on my sisters 33 outlaw put a all new stereo in the stock locations no amp no subs but the stereo has a buzzing noise checked all the connections she said the old stereo did it occasionally to wondering if anyone has run in to this before or knows what could be wrong with it

Sounds like a bad ground.

Check the wiring. If there are any electrical wires or power sources near it will create the hum especially when you throw the throttle.

Mine did that, drove me nuts for 2 Summers, finally I unpluged the power antana from the head unit and that corrected it:roll:
But I agree check your grounds.

Yep I agree with the others bad ground. They can be tuff sometimes in boats. Get a good test light and find you a good ground.

Keep power and ground wires away from speaker wires and run a 10-12 guage ground wire directly to the battery.
