have an envision 32 ft. intruder and i have spun the rubber out of the prop twice now. the prop is a quicksilver 21p. was thinking about purchasing turbo vector prop either a 21 or 23 pitch with the newer style plastic knock out hub, i was told it would handle more torq. the boat only has a single 454mag with a bravo 1 . i tried a quicksilver 19p, but my rpms were about 400 over at 5400. the 21p runs about 5000 rpm. i would rather the rpms be about 4700 to 4800. hoping for suggestions on what prop to go to. thanks in advance, mike

As far as spinning hubs out. Do you have the splined washer that the locking washers tabs bend down into under the prop nut. I have seen a prop held on with a flat washer spin the hub Very Quickly. Just a thought. Good Luck[smilie=042.gif]

yes the splined washers is on right, but thanks for the suggestion, i was told once they spin out the first time it is hard to hold them from then on, dont know if there is any truth to that or not

Rehubbing props never seems to be as good as the original rubber hub. The bore needs to be honed before the new hub is inserted.
You could test the Mirage Plus 21 and 23 prop. These props have the Flo Torq 2 system with the delrin insert. These props can not spin the hub without hitting something. We have these for testing if you are interested.
