I talked to them at Miami Boat show.
The towels are HUGE!! Soft and thick as a rug.
I looked on the internet when we came back home, nothing comes close to the size and weight of these towels.
A little bit spendy but isnt everything when you are buying the best?
They also did many other logos and didn't kill you with embroidery costs [smilie=appl]

I ordered the 6# and it should be here by this weekend. I'll let you know. I honestly have no idea how thick that really is, but from what I hear its awesome. I don't think you can go wrong with any of their products, but when I get mine, I'll let you know what I think.

I held both in Miami.
The 4# would be a comment like "wow, that is a really nice, heavy towel" and the move on.
6# comment "HOLY SH#@!!! that thing is huge and thick enough to be a rear deck cushion" and you talk for a couple minutes.
My opinion, if you are going to drop the coin, might as well make it memorable.
The only draw back I could see is it will take longer to dry out when really wet.

Thanks for the info. I am leaning towards the 6#. Is it thick enough to provide some cushin if my wife wants to lay out on the bow of the boat? Right now we use some thin yoga mats.

For anyone that was wondering. I got my 6 lb towels, and all I can say, is you'll be very very impressed. If I were going to spend the money again, I'd get the 6 pounders all over again!

DJ, just curious, what is the font and font size on your towels? BTW, great name for the new boat.

That font is Comic Sans, and I think they're 3" letters, but I couldn't swear to that. Normally if you order from their website they do 2 or 3" letters, but they're making the names for MWBP members as big as they can.

I can't promise anything, but so far, they've only taken a few days to embroider, and a couple more days to deliver. I think I had mine at my door 4 days after I placed the order. Again, don't hold me to that since I have no control over their production schedule, but I can tell them you're wanting it before a certain date when I order it, and see if they can hurry it through.

We've officially washed and dried our towels for the first time - our washer and drier are still intact...which was a small fear of mine to be honest!!!
And we didn't lose a pound of towel to the lint trap!

We have one of the Fattowels Light towels and it's awesome. I think they're 4lbs and it soaks up everything that gets dripped on the sunpad. After 3 seasons now, it's as blue as the day we got it. Great towels!
