I have 2 battery sizes, small has run just about 3 hours of continues use. Its never run all of the way down. I also have 2 of the larger batteries and it will last all day.
Good thing about the electric is you can use it completely under water, use it to dive with. Has a ballast container that can be used for diving, very well engineered. By Sea Doo,
If you get water in the intake if the gas model, it is done. + gas is dangerous to carry around. and it can get hot you can get burned in the exhaust. ect ect ect. Gas models are 400.00 I think.

I have an Aqua Scooter. Great toy, but pricey. New they are around $900 now. Check Aquascooter.com. Used older models on e-bay go for around $325. I bought mine used about a year ago. Has plenty of power. I have pulled 10 people down the gauntlet with it. Wasn't a fast ride with that load, but it did get the job done. I will be down at LOTO this weekend. Your welcome to look me up if you want to try mine before you buy one. [smilie=071.gif]

I have the gas engine version and we really like it. It can pull two of us down the gauntlet w/o any problem. [smilie=071.gif]
And if you really want to have fun... let the girls try it and it blows their tops right off [smilie=boobeyes]
